Shelley and Jonathan were married at Carmen’s Banquette Hall in Hamilton. They were accompanied by seven honour attendants for the bride and seven for the groom. The colour theme throughout was black and white, starting with the invitations and including the attendants’ gowns and the decor at the reception.
The late afternoon wedding was followed by a cocktail party and then a dinner reception. A fun twist: a huge die had to be tossed in order to persuade the bride and groom to kiss. If the cube delivered an even number, the couple kissed. If it were an uneven number, whoever tossed the cube had to kiss someone at his or her table.
